Engineering Service has experience with a range of Federal, State, and local environmental regulatory issues involving federal agencies such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), U.S. Fish & Wildlife (USF&WS), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), State environmental and conservation agencies such as Mississippi Dept. of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), AL Dept. of Environmental Management (ADEM), MS Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP), AL Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR), TN Dept. of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), FL Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP), MS Dept. of Marine Resources (DMR), and MS Dept. of Transportation (MDOT).
Services are provided to a range of clients in the public and private sectors including state, county, municipal, and tribal governments, public and private utilities, oil and gas industry, timber products industry, and land development.
Special focus on surface water and natural resource issues and duties include permitting and compliance services stemming from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Clean Water Act, the Endangered/Threatened Species Act, and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations.
